The school is a non denominational primary and secondary school offering grades prep to grade six. In 1999 it extended its offerings by adding years seven and eight.
The school emblem depicts The Cross, The Bible and foliage representing a tree, symbolic of young lives growing and maturing in Christ and producing good fruit.
Situated at the corner of Well and Sherrin Streets, Morwell, The Valley Christian Community School exists to provide an alternative education based on the truth of the Christian faith.
The School is also a member of The Victorian Christian School System, a fellowship of like-minded Christian Schools in Victoria and is a member of the Association of Independent Schools of Victoria.
The school community also enjoys a productive relationship with other Christian schools in the Gippsland region.
