WHAT'S NEW ?
Central Australia trip in 2001
Bob and his wife travelled to Central Australia during August and September 2001. The journey was mainly for Bob to experience the "outback" atmosphere and color, to paint, and to collect reference (photos) for further paintings in the future.

The journey took the couple to Adelaide, Coober Pedy, Uluru (Ayers Rock), Kings Canyon, Alice Springs (and surrounding MacDonnell Ranges).
Much time was spent sight-seeing, and exploring the areas, and some painting. About eight paintings were painted on location. However, many more were painted from photos later, resulting in a total of 30 or so paintings from the trip.

After Alice Springs, Bob and Carolyn travelled north to to Tennant Creek, then turned East and headed right across Queensland to the Sunshine Coast. From there they travelled home to VIctoria via Gulgong, Hill End, Sofala and the Blue Mountains (NSW).
