1980: Oil Painting "The Recollections of Mary" commissioned for the new Anglican Church in Morwell. 1982: One-man exhibition held at Latrobe Valley Arts Centre in Morwell. One of the Paintings, "Land of the Lyrebird" was purchased by the Latrobe Valley Arts Centre for its collection 1983: The painting owned by the Latrobe Valley Arts Centre was used on the Shire of Morwell Calendar, printed in full color. 1985: Eight pen and watercolor paintings were commissioned by the Rosedale Shire Council. The set, of buildings of historic significance in the Rosedale Shire, was a historic record of those buildings. These paintings now belong to Wellington Shire. 1990: Won Second Prize overall at Melbourne High School Art Show. The painting is now in the school's collection. Also won First Prize, Any Other Medium, at Ringwood Rotary Club Art Show at Eastland Shopping Centre. The painting was acquired by the Ringwood City Council. 1980 to 1991: Was judged "Best Gippsland Artist" on six occasions at Traralgon Art Show. Meanwhile he was winning many awards at oher art exhibitions throughout Gippsland. 1992: One-man exhibition held at "Chardonnay Lodge" at Coonawarra in South Australia. 1993: Paintings of "Flinders Street" and "Southbank" reproduced as Limited Edition Prints 1995: A very successful one-man exhibition was held at the La Trobe Regional Gallery in Morwell. 1997: Another successful exhibition, in the same Gallery, of paintings completed during a trip to Italy. 40 of the 52 paintings sold. 1998: One-man exhibition "From Stringybark to City Streets" held at Mulgrave Art Gallery in Metropolitan Melbourne. 1999: One-man exhibition of paintings from France trip at La Trobe Regional Gallery in Morwell. Again, highly successful. |

| Bob's paintings have been acquired by the Shire of Woorayl, Shire of Alberton. Another painting was purchased by the Sale Regional Arts Centre. Paintings have also been commissioned by corporations and private buyers. | |||||||
| He was also a member of a group called "The Gippsland 8", consisting of Gippsland artists from Wonthaggi and Cape Patterson through to Bairnsdale. Together they held 16 highly successful exhibitions throughout country Victoria and NSW, and two in Melbourne. | |||||||
| A full color calendar of his paintings was produced for 1999, 100,000 of which were distributed throughout Australia and overseas. This was followed by another for the year 2000. | |||||||
